Hi Everyone! Hope you are all having a wonderful day! It’s Friday and I thought I would share this adorable Crochet Avocado Potholder with you. It’s been rainy and cold here in Bozeman Montana the last week and I wanted something to brighten up my kitchen. I wasn’t in the mood for making something with flowers so I thought this Crochet Avocado Potholder was perfect. It’s bright enough for anytime of the year, yet brings that spring and summer vibe to the kitchen. This Crochet Avocado Potholder is made with 100% cotton yarn or bamboo yarn for functionality in the kitchen. Made double thick, this Crochet Avocado Potholder will be able to withstand the heat from all of your pots and pans.
Here’s what you will need for this Crochet Avocado Potholder!
Yarn: I used lily sugar and cream 100% cotton yarn for this avocado potholder. You’ll need 1 skein of Warm Brown and Hot Green, and 3 skeins of Dark Pine for your colors.
Crochet Hook: 5mm crochet hook. I love the crochet hooks that have the silicone handles. They are so comfortable to hold when crocheting.
Yarn Needle: You will need a yarn needle for weaving in those yarn tails. I really like the metal ones. I feel like they weave through the yarn much easier than the plastic ones.
Craft Scissors: Any pair of scissors will do for this Crochet Avocado Potholder. I like the smaller size that way they easily fit in my crochet hook bag.
