Well Hello Crochet Friends!!! I hope you all are doing well and staying warm this winter. Today’s project brings you the beginning of my Christmas Crochet Projects. I absolutely love Christmas and decided to make a project for everyday that I was off this year (basically Monday through Thursday). This Easy Christmas Wine Cozy is the first of my many projects that I will be posting here through the month of December.
This Easy Christmas Wine Cozy is super easy to create and is the perfect gift bag for that bottle of wine you are gifting this year. I think it’s a fun way to jazz up that bottle of wine and show that you went the extra step to make the gift extra special.
You are going to need a few things for this Easy Christmas Wine Cozy so let’s get started.
Easy Christmas Wine Cozy Supplies
Crochet Hook: 6mm crochet hook. I love the crochet hooks that have the silicone handles. If you would like to purchase a set of crochet hooks from them you can do so in the highlighted link above.
Yarn: I used a #4 worsted weight yarn for this project in the color’s white, delft blue, black, and orange, I used red heart super saver. You can purchase these colors in the highlighted link above.
Buttons: Any style of buttons will work, so get creative with the colors and make this Crochet Snowman Wine Cozy your own.
Yarn Needle: I like a metal yarn needle over the plastic ones. I feel like the metal yarn needles weave through the yarn much easier.
Craft Scissors: Any pair of scissors will work. I use smaller craft scissors because they easily fit in my crochet hook bag, making is so much easier to travel with. Feel free to use what ever scissors you have on hand.
